About Siyakhula Trust ETD Institute Pty Ltd

Siyakhula Trust ETD Institute is the newly formed commercial arm of Siyakhula Trust.

It was formed in response to the Department of Higher Education’s directive that all training providers who offer National Certificates and Learnerships, register as a FET College. It is a further requirement that all FET Colleges be Pty Ltd Companies. The Institute is accredited as a training provider by the LGSETA.

The Institute is an extension of Siyakhula Trust and offices and staff are shared, although key roles and responsibilities are clearly defined between the Institute and the Trust’s Community Development division.

Our mission is to develop capacity within the government and the ETD sectors through the provision of accredited training and organisational development consultancy services, so that they are able to serve and develop the people of South Africa more effectively.
